HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
The beginnings of the Valle secondary school are the Pētermuiža elementary school, which was opened on November 5, 1878. Gradually, the school became too narrow and too far from the center. In 1975, when the school extension was completed, on September 1st, the 9th grade started classes and the school became the Valle High School. K.Drone, J.Elksni, J.Raubēn, G.Krastiņi, G.Skujevska have great merits for the creation of Valles secondary school.
The school has a boarding house and a residential house for teachers "Veji".
in 2008 a new and modern sports hall was built. In 2011, the school sports stadium was renovated.
On the 100th anniversary of the Valle school, the "Book" stone was installed as a memorial. "A book grows out of the ground like a strong sprout and leans towards it. On the leaves some marks from the pattern of the gloves, from the belt, at the same time the distant past and the eternal childhood nearby, no one is afraid to put a hand on these leaves, touch the mark and turn to the east, where the sun rises on the hill. This stone in front of the school door is like an invitation."
